What’s In Elemental Herbology Age Support Hyaluronic Acid Booster Plus?
HYALURONIC ACID TO HYDRATE SKIN
Hyaluronic acid is a moisture magnet: whenever it spots some moisture in the air, it starts to woo and charm it, attracting it into your skin. Once there, it binds it to hydrate your skin.
Hyaluronic acid is a master at this: it can bind up to 1000 times its weight in water – both in high and low humidity conditions! I bet your dry skin had never seen so much moisture before!
All that moisture makes your skin softer to the touch, plumps up your wrinkles so they look smaller, and give your complexion a radiant glow.

SQUALANE TO MOISTURISE SKIN
Squalene is a natural component of human sebum. It’s super moisturising… and super unstable. It goes bad quickly and makes you breakout.
But hydrogenate it (ie, turn it from a liquid to a semi-solid using hydrogen gas) and it turns into squalane. It’s way more stable and 100% non-comedogenic.
Squalane oil is super moisturising. Because it’s so similar to human sebum, your skin absorbs it straight away. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind.
Once on your skin, squalane strengthens the skin’s protective barrier so that moisture stays in and germs, pollutants and irritants stay out.

Texture
It has a thicker texture than most hyaluronic acid serums I’ve tried in the past. It sinks in very quickly and leaves no residue behind.

Morning and/or night, right before moisturiser.

Performance & Personal Opinion
Elemental Herbology Age Support Hyaluronic Acid Booster Plus is super hydrating.
All this moisture does several wonderful things for the skin: it plumps up fine lines and wrinkles so they look smaller; it makes skin softer to the touch; it gives skin that moist, dewy appearance that makes it look like it’s glowing from within.
I shake the bottle well before use and then squeeze the pipette a few times to load the serum into the dropper. In winter, I use it both in the morning and at night to give my skin a double dose of hydration.
In summer, once in the evening is more than enough to give my skin all the moisture it needs and help it look younger and healthier.

Everyone can use it, but it’s mostly suitable for dry and dehydrated skin types.

Packaging
A short bottle with a dropper applicator. Cute, but not the most practical. You have to shake the tube well or the pipette won’t pick up too much product.
