Your advice is spot on. I have immaculate skin for a 55 yr old, religiously following your advice on actives, order of application, etc. No wrinkles, no melasma, plump skin. I know you’re an advocate of not using different products for facial zones (eg; eye creams) but I’ve noticed with my PM retinoids, If I use the same retinol 1% on my neck/decoll as I do on my face, my skin on my neck / decoll gets angry. I have recently switched up to a retinaldehyde 1% (bit of an improvement on decoll, but still angry), so now use Trilogy bakuchiol 4% for the neck/decoll which has calmed down. Is this normal,.and if so do you think bakuchiol is an effective alternative to get the same results for the decoll as I do with retinal for the face? I’ve read that the skin on your decoll is the same as the skin on your eyelids (very rhin..no fat..no muscle) which might explain why my retinol isn’t friendly on that zone. Appreciate your thoughts?

It worked! I’m now able to use natural deodorant.

Also, I originally bought the one for eczema when I first developed it and struggling with steroid cream. Like the other person commented, Aveeno eczema lotion saved me!

It was like night day compared to the last one I had. The ingredients looked the same except for their active ingredients: the one that I loved listed colloidal oatmeal as active ingredient and the other one listed dimethicone. The one with colloidal oatmeal is marketed specifically for eczema and is a bit more expensive.

Comment on How To Add Niacinamide To Your Skincare Routine by Tessa https://www.beautifulwithbrains.com/paulas-choice-10-niacinamide-booster/comment-page-1/#comment-708489 Thu, 16 Jul 2020 02:42:44 +0000 https://www.beautifulwithbrains.com/?p=103244#comment-708489 Hello Gio, thanks for the great post! I love this product too. In terms of nighttime application, I generally apply the Niacinamide Booster booster first (to bare skin), followed by Finacea (azaliac acid gel), then moisturizer. Should I actually be applying the Finacea first, followed by the Booster? The Booster is so watery, I figured it was a good first step. Cheers
